A careful balance of 8 B Vitamins - Vitamin B Complex 426mg x 90 capsules
What is Vitamin B Complex?
Vitamin B Complex refers to the combination of 8 B vitamins: Vitamin B1 (Thiamine); Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin); Vitamin B3 (Niacin); Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid); Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine); Vitamin B7 (Biotin); Vitamin B9 (Folate); and Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin).
What can Vitamin B Complex do?
Because B vitamins are water soluble, they are not retained by the body, so a daily dietary source may be beneficial.

Niacin Flush
Vitamin B Complex contains Vitamin B3 in the form of Niacin which can cause a “niacin flush.” Niacin dilates blood vessels encouraging an increase of blood flow and creates what we call a "niacin flush" in the form of a warm feeling, normally followed with blushing skin. It may be uncomfortable, even intense, but it is harmless and will pass.
Dr. Abram Hoffner, co-writer of Niacin: The Real Story says "With larger initial doses, the flush is more pronounced and lasts longer. But with each additional dose, the intensity of the flush decreases and in most patients becomes a minor nuisance rather than an irritant. Niacin should always be taken immediately after finishing one’s meal. Most people flush at the beginning and gradually get adapted to it unless they stop for a few days and then resume it. A few cannot ever get used to it, and they take the no-flush preparations. But the intensity of the flush is very variable."
To minimise the flush effect, take with food - specifically apples including their skin. Apples eaten 10 minutes before taking Niacin extends transport time in the digestive tract without lessening beneficial effects as can non-flush versions. Alcohol, hot drinks, high fat and spicy foods or snacks can increase strong flushing. Grapefruit juice can exacerbate flushing. As small amounts of Niacin are found in some foods – we recommend researching which foods are Niacin-rich.
Other forms of Vitamin B3 are non-flush such as Niacinamide.
