Amla - also known as the Indian Gooseberry - has anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial and astringent properties.  It also contains high levels of vitamin C which is excellent for smoothing and toning.  Perfect for those wanting to try "No Poo" hair treatments.

Increases shine and volume, encourages hair growth, leaves your hair and scalp feeling clean and healthy.  It protects hair cells for damage and can also repair damaged hair.
Amla powder is also suitable as an exfoliating and toning facial scrub.
 
Directions:
Mix with hot water to make a paste and leave for 30 minutes before using.  Amla can be used with Shikakai and Reetha powder for a full hair tretament.
Can also be mixed with vegetable oils or Aloe vera gel.
When applying to your hair, it may feel like the shampoo is tangling your hair, however this is only natural and will not damage your hair.  Rinse well.  The results should give you healthier and shinier hair.
