What are Soap Nuts? How can I use them?
Soap Nuts (sometimes referred to as Soapberries) are the seed pod and shell of the Soap Nut Tree - Sapindus Mukorossi.
They contain Saponin, a naturally occurring detergent and cleaning soap and have been used for centuries in India to clean clothes, skin and hair!
There are no commercial plantations for soap nut trees and instead they are collected by farmers as they fall from the tree in the Himalayas and India.

Laundry:
Add around 4-5 nuts into the small bag provided and add into the washing machine with your clothes. Nuts can be used several times before replacing!
Soap Nut Powder can be used as washing powder by just adding one tablespoon per load.
Shampoo:
Massage 1-2 teaspooons of soap nut powder into wet hair and rinse out like a normal shampoo.
Body Wash:
Massage 1-2 teaspoons of soap nut powder onto wet skin and rinse away.
Cleanser:
Mix equal parts soap nut powder and water to form a paste. Massage onto your face to cleanse and gently exfoliate.
Dish, Hand Soap and Surface Cleanser:
Add 10-15 soapnuts and add to boiling water, let them simmer for 30 mins - 1 hour. Let the liquid cool and use how you like
